DRAP was founded in late 2007 under the former name NATT as a one-man band, in Solingen, Germany.

The founding member Thurz is responsible for all instrument and vocal parts.

During the first period of time NATT finally came up with a quite unknown EP called "Imploded God" in 2008. The music was very raw and brutal, but it was not as satisfying as Thurz wanted it. Therefore, after about a year of intense work Thurz changed the concept and the name into DRAP, followed by another year of work on new material.

In winter 2009 DRAP finally finished the work on the first demo tape "Vastness And Spirit".

On 02.01.2010 "Vastness And Spirit" was handed to Schwarzdorn Production, where it is still available.
